Your job and your prospects:

As a project manager (m/f/d), we involve you in taking responsibility for our customer projects right from the start. You are the ambassador for “your” topics internally and externally. Our many different projects offer you a variety of opportunities to develop quickly and with a broad professional spectrum and, at the same time, to grow with the complex dependencies across specialist topics and customers. You support or take on all project management activities as required (from requirements analysis to project conception and planning to project management and communication and many more). This may also include coordination between several customer projects in the sense of multi-project management.

Be sure to bring your previous experience into our consulting projects and challenge our customers as a “sparring partner”. Together with the customer on site and with our agile teams, you analyze both the technical needs and processes as well as the customer's project culture and, together with the team, create solutions, procedures and measures. You then implement all action points directly in coordination with the stakeholders. And what's more: we fully count on your own ideas and suggestions for all of this; and your awareness of higher-level connections and your active thinking at all project and organizational levels are highly welcome.

Tasks

Participation in the conception, planning and control of really demanding projects including requirements management, stakeholder management, risk management and change management, budget control, supplier control, reporting and quality assurance

Operational support for the implementation of changes and the introduction of new processes in the existing customer environment

Tracking of tasks, milestones and (intermediate) results

If necessary, technical leadership and further development of individual topics or subject areas

Creating meaningful documents to trigger management decisions on the customer and CGI side

Coordination of CGI tasks with assigned customer specialists

Contributing to the design of team compositions and project organizations with a view to ensuring a perfect fit with the respective customer project and the CGI self-image as a customer-centric top service provider

 Participation in the continuous operation and use of the project-related CGI-internal tools and mechanisms

Market observation in the public environment for all IT and project management needs of existing and potential customers as well as collaboration in the acquisition of new projects

Participation in the creation of overarching concepts based on the project topics and experiences in order to adopt/adapt solutions for other customers

qualification

It is not important to us whether you have completed a degree in computer science or other comparable training. The core values for us are your personality and your passion for project management in both classic and agile projects, but especially in interdisciplinary teams. With your current know-how and your previous experience as a kickoff, we offer you regular professional and personal training. This means you can always take your skills to a new level, and we can always open up new perspectives and challenges for you.

The following skills will particularly enable you for your planned assignments at CGI:

  For you, the focus in all projects is on people, both those involved and those affected; You see projects, processes and technologies as support and an approach to excellence. In doing so, you support a responsible and people-centered design of public administration and our society

  You have an open, tolerant and curious mindset and get involved in topics, not because you have to but because you want to

  You have (initial) experience in (agile) project management and perhaps even interdisciplinarye or international project teams

  a project management certificate (preferably GPM / IPMA and / or SCRUM, but also e.g. PMI, Prince2, SAFe or others) is an additional asset

  Experience in public administration at the federal, state or local level, association work, politics or the church environment is not absolutely necessary, but is also a great advantage

  You have a feeling for people and moods, for underlying conflicts and potentials, and can draw conclusions from this for your goal-oriented actions, which also keep very different personalities in mind and value them; To do this, you can rely on your tactful assertiveness, your ability to deal with fair conflicts and your holistic sense of responsibility

  You have experience in presenting and workshop work and perform confidently in this environment

  You have excellent analytical and conceptual skills, a good understanding of complex relationships and can put all of this into words in an understandable way

  We also require a good knowledge of spoken and written German and English and would be happy if you speak other languages
